
Behind Friddle and Cabrera, Andy Stinkbrink took third in the race with a 22:15. The first male master in the 5K was Aldin Mathews, the fifth male finisher and eighth overall in 24:24.
Another Franklin County High cross-country runner, sophomore Addyson Paul, took second in the women's standings, coming in sixth overall in 23:52. A few steps behind Paul, Hailey Morrison was the third female finisher and seventh overall in 23:56. Morrison is a seventh-grader on the Wewahitchka High cross-country team.
76 athletes finished the inaugural Honoring The Brave 5K. The race was a benefit for the Franklin County School track and field teaam and the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Charity Fund.
