Martha Wellman Park is a Blueprint 2000 project, a Leon County park built around a stormwater retention pond constructed as part of the widening of Capital Circle Northwest between US 90 (West Tennessee Street) and Interstate 10. The park is located on the south side of West Tennessee Street between Capital Circle Northwest and Aenon Church Road, and includes a 10-foot wide asphalt trail that makes a 3870-foot circuit of the pond, suitable for a stroll, a jog, a skate, or a leisurely bicycle ride.
