Brandon Krout and Lacey Krout come up green again at Moultrie's Saint Patty 5K

After taking the overall titles in Moultrie's 2024 Saint Patty 5K, Brandon Krout and Lacey Krout were back in that South Georgia town on Saturday morning, 15 March 2025, for the fourth annual race. They won again. Brandon Krout went 16:41, just seconds off Will Brewster's event record of 16:32, to take first overall. Lacey Krout repeated as first woman, coming in second overall in 18:51.


Moultrie's Jebb Cato nabbed second in the men's division, finishing third overall in 21:25. Vinicius Fernandes Araujo of Tifton, Georgia was the third man and fourth overall in 21:55. Kurt Posey of Moultrie was the first master runner in the race and fourth male finisher, fifth overall in 22:23.


Thirteen-year-old Madison Miracle of Baconton, Georgia placed second in the women's standings with a 23:22, coming in eighth overall. Miracle is a seventh-grader on the Baconton Charter School cross-country team. Adel, Georgia athlete Tia O'Leary was the third woman and sixteenth overall in 27:12. Jodi Beth Stuckey of Moultrie was the first woman master and eighth female finisher, 23rd overall in 29:41.


54 athletes finished the 5K at the 2025 Saint Patty 5K. The race was a benefit for the Colquitt Regional Medical Foundation. Event Technical Services, Inc., of Sylvester, Georgia timed and scored the race.

Brandon Krout and Lacey Krout headlined the headline race at Moultrie's ArtFest Half-Marathon

2024 ArtFest Half-MarathonWhatever you wanted to run on Saturday, 23 November 2024, you didn't have to look farther than Moultrie, Georgia to do it. In addition to the eponymous 13.1-mile race, Moultrie's fourth annual Artfest Half-Marathon also included a 10K, a 5K, and a one-mile fun run. Each race featured its own USATF-certified course. But the headline event was still the half-marathon, and that was won by Brandon Krout in 1:19:31. Lacey Krout was the first woman in the race, taking second overall in 1:30:34.


Brandon Krout had finished runner-up to Tallahassee, Florida master runner Leonardo Canete in the 2023 ArtFest Half-Marathon, running 1:21:11. Krout shaved nearly two minutes off that mark in 2024, winning by two-and-a-half kilomters.


David Veasey of Jacksonville Beach, Florida took second in the men's division, coming in third overall in 1:33:36. Tallahassee's Camilo Ordonez was the first master runner in the race and the third male finisher, fourth overall in 1:35:14.


Kayla Pipe of Hahira, Georgia placed second in the women's standings and ninth overall in 1:39:30. At 1:52:54, Jenna Ganas of Tifton, Georgia was the third woman and fifteenth overall. The first woman master was Moultrie's Beth Norman, the fourth woman and nineteenth overall in 1:56:14.


45 athletes finished Moultrie's 2024 ArtFest Half Marathon.

Hinesville, Georgia master runner Joseph Law won the ten-kilometer race at ArtFest, running 49:15. Julianne Fay of Moultrie was the first woman in the 10K, finishing runner-up to Law in 52:15.


Preston Folsom of Cairo, Georgia was second on the men's side with a 53:15, good for third overall. Just behind Folsom at 53:20, the third man and fourth overall finisher was Moultrie master runner Ed Norman.


April Mathis of Moultrie was the first woman master and second female in the 10K, coming in sixth overall in 54:00. Tifton, Georgia master runner Kim Moorman was third in the women's division and eighth overall in 55:00,


29 athletes finished Moultrie's 2024 ArtFest 10K.

Nathan Perales, a sophomore on the Colquitt County High cross-country team, took first in the ArtFest 5K, racing the 3.1 miles in 19:34. Holten Dennard, an eighth-grade harrier at Thomas County Middle School, finished runner-up to Perales in 20:14. Dagoberto Gonzalez of Moultrie placed third in 21:06.


Thirteen-year-old Veronika Brace of Norman Park, Georgia was the first female finisher in the 5K, crossing the line fifteenth in 24:48. Hahira's Jacqueline Girardin was second in the women's standings and 23rd overall in 26:40. Royston, Georgia master runner Sheila Finney was the third woman and 30th overall in 27:52.


50 athletes finished Moultrie's 2024 ArtFest 5K.
