Wakulla Country master runner Duane Evans proved the fastest runner on this roller-coaster of a course, winning the race in 20:11. Behind Evans, Tallahassee's Michael LaBossiere finishes runner-up with a 20:36. Wakulla High School cross-country runner Lane Williams took third, running 20:59.
Fourth overall was Tallahassee runner Renee Cox, the first female finisher in the race, running 21:01. Cox won the women's title by more 600 meters over runner-up Jaynie Mitchell. Mitchell was eighth overall in 24:17. Angie Dempsey was the third woman and first woman master, placing ninth overall in 24:33.
Proceeds from the race benefited the Leon High School Volleyball team.
