There were four full teams in the women's race, but the team competition became a dual meet between the squads from Florida State and Florida A & M. Lauren Mahan led the Seminoles, followed by Florida State frosh Kylie Thomas, the runner-up in 20:25. The A & M Rattlers struck back with frosh Sierra Barrera taking third in 20:47 and frosh Niya Coleman fourth in 20:52. Florida State's reply was to bring sophomore Lillie Mealor home fifth in 21:14, senior Rachel Johnson eighth in 22:00, and junior Toba Kahn ninth in 22:16. With that, the Seminoles edged the Rattler for the meet title, 25 to 30.
Edward Waters University, led by Damari Johnson (18th, 27:39), placed third with 89 points. Chipola was fourth with 102. Host school Tallahassee Community College did not run enough athletes to have a team score.
