Finishing over 300 meters ahead of the next runner, Chiles High senior Josh Cartwright won the second annual March of Dimes 5K on Saturday morning, 15 February 2014, on the streets around Chiles High School in Bradfordville, Florida. Second place went to Samuel Cornwell in 20:23. Cornwell was followed across the finish line by a group of four Chile High lacrosse players, Alex Petrick (3rd, 21:12), Dalton Hester (4th, 21:12), Jack Trafton (5th, 21:16), and Matt Ellison (6th, 21:21).Jenna Kolby took the women's title in the 3.1-mile race, finishing 14th overall in 24:59. Alyssa Rudd was second in the women's standings, placing 17th overall in 25:17.
85 athletes finished the race, which started from the Chiles High clock tower.
