Naylor's Scot Gardner ran a 28:47 8K through the streets of Quitman, Georgia, winning the Brooks County Steppin' Out 8K on Saturday, 18 September 2010. Gardner was also the fastest master runner in the race and finished almost 400 meters ahead of the next runner, Valdosta's Masked Avenger, who covered the course in 31:13. Stephanie Adams of Jennings, Florida was the first woman finisher and fastest woman master, placing sixth overall in 47:33. Hahira's Micaela Wood beat out Heather Miller of Valdosta for the women's runner-up spot, 48:42 to 48:57. The race is a benefit for the
Boys and Girls Clubs of Brooks County.
