Taken mostly from the Gainesville Sun, although I've corrected some of their errors by going to FHSAA records. Some weirdnesses remain, however.

They spelled my name wrong.

James Spilios (Colonial High-Orlando, FL)
They always got my name wrong :)
Jim,
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I'm "Willis" almost half the time. But in the defense of the Orlando Sentinel, which always had great coverage of the state meet, I may just have had trouble reading the old microfilm of the paper. But wherever else your name appears, it's spelled correctly now here at Trouble Afoot!
Herb.
Thanks, Herb!
ReplyDeleteI was just searching Florida track records and came across this site. Very nice, thanks.
Sadly my team mate, John Carpenter, passed 6/23/10. Colonial had 3 vaulters over 14ft that year, me, John and Andy Parsons.
