None catch up to Grisiaffi or Grubbs at Tomato Trot

The third annual Tomato Trot 5K was run at the Tallahassee Antique Car Museum while the second annual race was run at Southwood. The 2013 race also differed from the 2012 in that Jonathan Grisiaffi was runner-up in 2012, but in 2013 he was the champion. With rain starting to fall on Sunday morning, April 14, Grisiaffi turned in a 19:26 for the 3.1-mile race, winning by close to 800 meters. Earley Trebor was the runner-up at 23:13, and Michael Cipriano was third overall as well as the first master finisher. In fourth place, Skylar Grubbs edged out master runner Lisa Bohl for the top women's spot, 24:59 to 25:00. 31 athletes completed the run, the opening event of the second day of the Tallahassee Italian Festival.
