Michael Rhodes was the first master runner in the Red Shoe Run 10K, finishing second to Halley in 41:06. Travis Parks placed third overall in 42:37. Shelby Augustyniak edged Kenya Rich for the top woman master spot, 48:20 to 48:26. Augustyniak and Rich were the second and third female finishers, placing eleventh and twelfth overall.

In the 5K Andrew Wynn, a frosh distance runner at Community Christian School, edged the 2015 champion, Thomas Parker, for first, 18:48 to 18:51. Adriana Piekarewicz enjoyed a slightly longer margin in winning the women's competition, outracing runner-up Sheryl Rosen 18:58 to 19:06. Crawfordville's Duane Evans was the fastest master runner in the 3.1-mile race, placing fifth overall in 19:42.
