Eric Godin had won the inaugural Red Shoe 10K in 2012, but in the 2015 race he was third behind Moore and Gibson, running 40:07. Mark Tombrink was fourth in 43:15, and FSU student Brandon Buck took fifth in 46:11.
Shelby Augustyniak was second on the women's side behind Basford, coming in twelfth overall in 50:09. Master runner Andrea Birch was the third female finisher, 15th overall in 50:45. Sarah Monbarren (18th, 51:26) was fourth in the women's standings and Renee McNeill (19th, 51:43) was fifth.

In addition to those finishers of the 10K, another 263 completed the concurrently run Red Shoe 5K. The fastest finisher of the 5K was Maclay School cross country coach Gary Droze, who covered the 3.1 miles in 17:19, crossing the line nearly 600 meters ahead of the next runner. Thomas Parker was second in 19:34, just ahead of Crawfordville, Florida, master runner Duane Evans. Evans was third in 19:44. Tallahassee master runner Paula O'Neill took the women's title in the shorter race, placing tenth overall in 22:54. Finishing second to O'Neill in the women's standings was Alyssa Bertinelli, a Florida State University student and former Charlotte High cross country runner. Bertinelli was twelfth overall in 23:26.

The Red Shoe Run benefits the Ronald McDonald House charities of Tallahassee. All event proceeds are used for program services to pediatric patients and their families at Tallahassee's Ronald McDonald House. Ronald McDonald Houses across the country provide temporary residence for families of children receiving hospital treatment.
