Mary Jean Yon was the Devil at this edition of the race, harvesting 22 of the 23 souls on the track. The winner and last runner left on the track was Paul "Jody" Spangler, who went on to win the Palace Saloon 5K the following spring, the Rose City 10K in 2001, and is currently a track coach at the University of Florida. Cynthia Campbell was the last woman on the track. But you can see that in the results below.
