Albany's Karen Hamby captured both the women's and woman masters' titles, running 45:23. Hamby finished about 100 meters ahead of the women's runner-up, Tiffany Warren of Waycross, Georgia. Warren's time was 45:51.
The Jingle Bell Jog also included a 5K option, the shorter race went to Will Howell of Enigma, Georgia in 19:57. At 22:49 Katherine McGarr of Cordele, Georgia was the top female finisher.
The Jingle Bell Jog is an annual event hosted by the Phoebe Foundation of Albany, Georgia. This year marked the 23rd anniversary of the "Jog." The runs start and finish at Phoebe Healthworks (part of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital) and meander through the Rawson Circle neighborhood of Albany. 194 runners completed the 10K and another 351 finished the 5K.

The race was not even close. Bryton went the wrong way on the course finishing right behind me after I caught him. The real difference would have been a few minutes.
