This 5K belongs to Sherwood Christian harriers Orr and Kendrick

On Saturday morning, 21 March 2015, in Albany, Georgia, Andrew Orr sprinted to the finish line of the Sherwood Christian Academy track just ahead of Markus Given to win the fifth annual Legacy Run For Life 5K, 22:38 to 22:42. Orr and Given are both cross-country runners, Orr for Sherwood Christian and Given at Americus-Sumter High. Eric Crump of Leesburg, Georgia, was the first master runner in the race, placing seventh overall in 23:56.


Ana Kendrick made it a sweep for Sherwood Christian cross country; the Eagle eighth-grader won the women's title, coming in tenth overall in 24:43. Audrianna Holsey of Leesburg, Georgia, was second in the women's standings, finishing 24th overall in 28:49. Albany's Sandy Smith was the first woman master and the tenth woman in the race, placing 37th overall in 31:26.


110 athletes finished the 3.1-mile race. The 2015 Legacy Run For Life 5K was chip timed and scored by Runners Fit Race Works.
