Anne Price takes it all at Dollars For Scholars

Georgia Military College's Dollars For Scholars 5K returned to the streets of Valdosta, Georgia, for a second annual running on Saturday morning, 27 June 2015, and Anne Price was there. Price ran the 3.1-mile course in 22:17, which was not just good enough to win the women's title and break Danielle Jarnagin's 2015 women's event record of 22:25. It was also good enough to earn Price first place overall in the field of 56 finishers.


Valdosta master runner Billy Taylor was the first in the men's standings, placing second overall in 22:26. A few steps behind Taylor, Alice Smoot was the top woman master and the second female finisher, third overall in 22:29.


The Dollars For Scholars 5K is a fundraiser for the Georgia Military College Scholarship Fund.
