Matt Levonick's High School cross country season ended on 22 October 2015, when his Springstead High team placed fifth in the District Meet at Weeki Wachee Preserve, failing to qualify for Region. But that didn't mean that Levonick was done running. On Saturday morning, 31 October 2015, Levonick was on the Tallahassee campus of Florida State University racing the Parents Weekend 5K, where he edged master runner Jeff Conston for the win, 17:52 to 17:55. Rick Pool was third in 19:37, and Josh Cooey fourth in 20:43.Lakewood Ranch sophomore cross-country runner Mikayla Wiles won the women's competition, placing 14th overall in 24:13. Donna Greenfield was the top woman master and second female finisher, placing 17th overall in 24:51. Samantha Fugate was third in the women's standings, 18th overall in 25:09.
178 athletes finished the 3.1-mile race.
