Rupp is a three-time member of the United States Olympic Team and an Olympic medalist in the 10,000 (silver, 2012) and the marathon (bronze, 2016). Rupp was the NCAA-D1 Men's Cross-Country champion in 2008, the last American to hold that title. However, Rupp has not competed in cross-country since 2011, when he placed second to Mo Farah in the Great Edinburgh International Cross Country.
As a high school athlete Hasay was a two-time USATF Cross-Country Junior Women's National Champion (2007, 2008) and a two-time and a two-time Foot Locker Cross-Country National Champion (2005, 2008). At the University of Oregon she was an eighteen-time NCAA All-American. During 2017, Hasay won women's titles at the USATF Road 15K and Road 20K National Championships, winning Jacksonville, Florida's Gate River Run 15K in 49:28 and the New Haven (CT) Road Race 20K in 66:35.
