The fastest master runner in the race, however, was Valdosta's Alice Smoot, the first woman across the finish line. Smoot was fifth overall in 22:49. Jennifer Hummel of Dasher, Georgia, was the second woman finisher, ninth overall in 23:59. Valdosta's Sarah Beck (10th, 24:15) was the fourth woman, and Valdosta master runner Martha Mazurkiewicz (15th, 24:35) was the fifth.
Proceeds from the race were earmarked for the benefit of Lottie Moon International Missions. Timing and finish line services were provided by A Course/Line, LLC, of Valdosta, Georgia.
