Behind Ainsworth's record-setting 1:14:50, Richard Ford was second in 1:26:18. Alex Swanson placed third in 1:32:13, and Enterprise High sophomore cross-country runner Josh Crawford grabbed fourth with a 1:34:44.
Edna Keene was the women's runner-up, placing tenth overall in 1:43:40. Kathy Gannon was the top master and third female finisher in the half marathon, placing eleventh overall in 1:44:15.
David Anderson was the first male master and fourteenth overall in 1:45:40.

Another 101 athletes finished a 5K race contested during the half marathon. Tanner Norman, a junior on the Early County High cross-country team, won the 3.1-mile event, running 18:20. Fawad Safi was second in 18:31, and Houston Academy sophomore Chris Tamburin placed third in 20:05.
Jackie Birge was the first woman in the shorter race, and seventh overall in 22:00. Dothan master runner Carolyn Houston was the second female finisher and twelfth overall in 23:22. In a match of two more master runners, Mary Lise Patterson edged Loretta Shapiro for third, 24:39 to 24:45. Patterson and Shapiro finished eighteenth and nineteenth overall.
