Cleveland and McNally take the 2016 Legacy Run For Life 5K

In Albany, Georgia on Saturday morning, 9 April 2016, Trevor Cleveland won the sixth annual Legacy Run For Life 5K, finishing first in a field of 101 runners. Cleveland's time for the 3.1-mile race was 20:47. Nine-year-old Christian Jackson finished runner-up in 21:32. Right behind Jackson, Ryan Canidate took third in 21:39. David Guerra was the top master runner in the race, finishing fifth overall in 23:14.


Master runner Karen McNally won the women's title, crossing the finish line tenth in 24:54. Master runner Amy Cain was second in the women's standings, coming in twelfth overall in 25:35. Ansley Cain, a Lee County High junior year cross country runner, was the third female finisher and fifteenth overall in 26:26.


101 athletes finished the sixth annual Legacy Run For Life 5K. Runners Fit Race Works chip timed and scored the race.
