Asouzu and Wandahl lead a constellation of stars recognizing America's fallen at Fort Rucker

2017 Survivors and Fallen Heroes 5KEach year starting in 2012, Fort Rucker in Alabama has held a 5K race in honor of Gold Star Families and the fallen soldiers that they've lost. Runners are invited to wear a star pinned to their clothing during the race, each star carries the name of a fallen hero. Athletes may also personalize a star, adding the name of a particular soldier. The Fort Rucker Survivor Outreach Services program provides the stars.
