Saturday, 21 September 2019, was another third Saturday in September, so it was the day of another Georgia Military College Valdosta 5K. Ruben Pule won the sixth annual race, covering the 3.1 miles in 21:05. Pinetta, Florida master runner Tracey Cole took the women's title, placing third overall in 24:11.At 22:00, William Lowe of Wellborn, Florida was runner-up in the 5K. Erik Zajdel of Ray City, Georgia was the first male master, third in the men's standings, and fourth overall in 24:40.
Valdosta's Traci Ferris took second in the women's standings and fifth overall in 24:40. Another Valdosta athlete, Jamie Brown, was the third female finisher and seventh overall in 25:58.
50 athletes finished the 2019 Georgia Military College Valdosta 5K. A Course/Line, LLC, of Valdosta timed the race and provided finish line services.
