  1. I was telling my wife that some years ago, a group of Tallahassee athletes rode their bikes to Dothan, ran a race, then rode back home. She told me that people in Tallahassee are not that stupid and I assured her they are. Does anyone recall that or I am wrong, as usual?

    1. I regret to inform you that you have sullied your record for being wrong. You're thinking of the Critter Run 5K, which was held annually in Dothan each July starting in 1986:

I believe that the race was last held in 2013. The bike ride from Tallahassee to Dothan for the race was an annual thing as well.
