Through fire and flood, the Bay County Courthouse has been in the same building at 300 East Fourth Street in Panama City, Florida for over a hundred years. And for over thirty of those years, runners have been coming to the Courthouse for the Bay County Bar Association's annual Race Judicata 5K. Chris Myers won the 34th annual Race Judicata on Saturday morning, 4 May 2019, posting a winning time of 22:32. Rory Claussen won the women's title for the third year in a row, coming in second overall in 23:15.Spencer Claussen edged Ben Bollinger for the runner-up spot in the men's standings, both runners clocked in 23:38. Spencer, whose sister is Rory Claussen, was third overall. Bollinger was the first master runner in the race and fourth overall.
Debbie Chitwood was the first woman master in the race, coming in second in the women's standings and eighth overall in 25:34. It was Chitwood's second straight year as the the top woman master in the Race Judicata. 2017's first woman master, Lynne Carlson, was the third female finisher and thirteenth overall, running 27:18.
41 athletes finished the Bay County Bar Association's 2019 Race Judicata 5K.
