On the list of the top 25 male performers, Jake Poore, the Springtime 5K winner, entered the list at number four with his 17:23. Wyatt Townsend improved his best time of the year to 17:29, maintaining his position as the sixth performer on this list. Michael Niezgoda, Matt Mizereck, and Patrick Koon each made it into the top 25 for the first time in 2019 with their Springtime marks, Niezgoda at #7 with a 17:56, Mizereck at #8 with a 17:59, and Koon at #9 with an 18:03. Jackson Rowe went 18:30 at Springtime, moving him from #20 to #15 in the men's top 25. Tanner Smith and Robert Duggleby made the top 25 for the first time in 2019 on the strength of their Springtime 5K runs, Smith at #20 with an 18:30 and Duggleby at #23 with an 18:47. Michael Martinez improved his best time of the year to 18:45 at Springtime, but dropped from #16 to #22 on the list. Filippo Aldrovandi-Reina lowered his best time for 2019 from 19:35 to 18:48, allowing him to remain on the list at #24.

Maclay School cross-country runner Grace Koeppel, a seventh-grader, took the women's title at the Springtime 5K with a 19:57, good for #6 on the women's list of performers. Samantha Reilly was #26 on the women's list before Springtime; after running 21:01 at Springtime Reilly is #12. Stella Lewis had gone 22:24 at the Run For The Cookies 5K; she improved that to 22:17 at the Springtime 5K to claim #24 on the women's list.

What didn't happen at Springtime is that the leaders on the 2019 lists weren't displaced. Stan Linton still leads the men with the 15:29 he ran at the Bowlegs 5K. Ann Centner continues to lead the women with the 17:59 she posted at Bowlegs. The fastest master runner in Tallahassee so far this year is Myles Gibson, who ran 18:24 at Bowlegs. Stephanie Liles-Weyant still has the fastest road 5K for a woman master during 2019, her 20:51 at the Run For The Cookies 5K.

There's still plenty of time left in 2019 for new leaders to emerge. On 6 April 2019 alone there are two 5K races on USATF-certified courses in Tallahassee, the Chiles High's seventh annual Wolf Dash 5K and Conley Elementary's fourth Yellow Jacket Swarm 5K. On 13 April 2019 Gulf Winds Track Club stages the 45th annual Palace Saloon 5K, traditionally a very fast race. The third annual Florida High 5K on 20 April 2019 is also on a USATF-certified course, as is the sixth annual Nene Fest 5K on 27 April 2019.
Those are the races in April that meet these criteria for inclusion in the rankings:
- The race has to be in Tallahassee (anywhere in Leon County is fine)
- The race has to be run on a USATF certified course
- The race has to have published results
- I have to see the results
