You'd expect the best times to come from the Turkey Trot. The 15K race there is older, larger, and entirely on pavement. Much of the GWTC 15K course, on the other hand, is on natural surfaces. Contrary to those expectations, though, Tallahassee's fastest 15K time in 2015 came from the GWTC 15K--a 50:11 posted by Leon High senior Sukhi Khosla.
That didn't happen again in 2016. United States Navy Ensign Stan Linton recorded Tallahassee's fastest 15K of 2016 at the Turkey Trot, a 47:44. However, the next two times on the 2016 list do come from the GWTC 15K, Matt Mizereck's 52:17 and Matthew Cashin's 54:14. The men's top ten is evenly divided between the two races, with five athletes from each event.
Turkey Trot performances dominate the women's list, though, starting with Sheryl Rosen's top-ranked 59:42 from that race. Allison Eagen is number two on the list at 1:00:49; her time also came from the Turkey Trot. Adriana Piekarewicz ran 1:00:54 at the GWTC 15K and is number three on the list, but she's the only athlete in the women's top ten whose best performance came at that race. Other than Piekarewicz, the top ten is all Turkey Trot.

Unless there's a startling change to the Tallahassee racing calendar, the 2017 rankings will be based on times from the Gulf Winds Track Club 15K on 14 January 2017 and the Tallahassee Turkey Trot 15K on 23 November 2017. In the meantime, here are the lists for 2016:
