On the men's side, five athletes ran fast enough at Nene Fest on Saturday morning, 28 April 2018, to make it into the top 25--Vince Molosky ran 17:02, Chris O'Kelley ran 17:07, Ryan Truchelut ran 17:45, Brad Busboom ran 17:48, and Kurt Dietrich ran 18:02. However, Molosky had already run 17:00 at the Run For The Cookies, O'Kelley had already run 17:00 at Bowlegs, Truchelut had already run 17:34 at the Palace Saloon, Busboom had already run 17:36 at the Palace Saloon, and Dietrich had already run 17:57 at the Run For The Cookies. So in spite of some strong performances, no one has moved in the men's top 25. Justin Garrard still has the top time for 2018, his 15:15 at the Palace Saloon. Carter Hay still has 2018's leading time for a master runner, the 18:00 he posted at the Run For The Cookies.
There was one change in the women's top 25, though. Angie Dempsey went 21:42 at Nene Fest, placing third in the women's standings. That performance put Dempsey back on the women's list at #24. Dempsey had previously been in the women's top 25 after going 23:19 at the Bowlegs 5K on 13 January 2018 and 22:38 at the Run For The Cookies on 10 February 2018. She had been knocked off the list after the Shamrock Scurry on 3 March 2018, but now she's back.

Meanwhile, Adriana Piekarewicz is more than halfway through her third month of leading the women's list with her 17:59 from the Run For The Cookies. Corrine Porcher is still the first woman master on the list, #20 with the 21:29 she ran at the Palace Saloon 5K on 21 April 2018.
The Nene Fest 5K was the latest race to meet the criteria for being included in the rankings:
- The race has to be in Tallahassee (anywhere in Leon County is fine)
- The race has to be run on a USATF certified course
- The race has to have published results
- I have to see the results
